i have a 12 days old kitten, she's white and has red eyes (or pink, i'm not sure. She opened the eyes 3 days. her father's white and her sibling's too).

Is it normal? if will they change blue in the future? If they wont, is it a healthy kitten with red eyes or it's sure be an albino.

In my town, vet hospital's terrible so they dont sure about it. plz help me if u know about this. Thank you so much.

It could mean she is albino though rare it apparently sometimes happens. Here is a good post with more information (http://www.thecatsite.com/t/238431/...en-a-white-cat-and-an-albino-cat#post_3143127).

I am not entirely certain though that your cat is albino because it is a very rare genetic mutation. I suspect her eye colour will change. I found this post on identifying eye colour in Persian cats and apparently blue eyed Persians do have some red in their eyes (http://www.purrinlot.com/eye-color-research.htm). Persians also can have a very deep copper colour though she is too young to have this show up.

The last thing I wonder is if she has an infection in her eye which could cause them to look red. I would ask the vet if that is possible.

tks Franksmom. She dont like sunlight so i'm a litte worried, though i also suspect she's not an albinism. She's rather pink. This's her:

i can't take a photo the eye's color 'cause she always close her eyes when it's light.

I have a rescued stray here that just had three kittens.  Today is day 15 and they are opening their eyes as well.  The white ones have pinkish red eyes as well.  I suspect this is normal!  You're a good mama for worrying though!  I did read that white cats with blue eyes are most definitely deaf.  Keep an eye out for that.  Good luck with your kittens!

You can also tell what color a kittens eyes will be based on how they reflect light when flash photography is used. Cats have a reflective later behind their eyes known as the tapetum lupidum that reflects light. In most cats this will reflect any varying shade of green, yellow, or amber. However blue ryed cats (white cats with blue eyes and Siamese cats) lack this layer. Cats lacking this reflective layer will have a red eye shine when light hits it and will have blue eyes. This is like red eye you see in photographs. Try taking a flash photo of your kittens when the eyes are open. Based on the eye shine color you may be able to tell if they will be blue eyed or orange eyed Persians as adults.
