The little Tortie we took in after her owners thew her out the 2nd story window, her little sibling didn't make it. They were about a month old.

The white one (we believe is an Albino) rocked up on our doorstep one day, he was so friendly so we took him to the vet the next day, got him neutered and treated for worms and fleas and he has been living with us ever since.

I love having kittens in the house again... very entertaining...

True albino would have pink or very pale blue eyes, or albino odd-eye, one pink, one pale blue.

From the second photo I would say that yes, he looks albino.

Gorgeous kitties

Just had to post a pic of my beautiful Queen - Neve. She is about 8 years old now but still behaves like a kitten. We moved to a new house with a massive garden so now our cats get to play outside for a few hours a day, the only down side is that they are always dirty now...

Stray mother and her kittens. The mother is pregnant again! Want to try and capture her so we can have her spayed, any advice on how to go about it? I think we could catch her but I doubt she will let anyone near her... so not too sure if the vet could get close enough for an injection... being a Chinese vet I doubt he would even want to try...

When we first took in Dobby, he would sit and do this for hours... too cute

Oh Dobby   He is just very precious the way he looks on at the fish :lol3:. I think albinos have pink eyes only. Not sure though. A lot of white cats with blue eyes are deaf. But not all. I assume Dolby can hear :).

:vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: For the beautiful white mama cat and her gorgeous babies. Oh, my heart :heart3:. I wish I could save them all :frown2:. Good luck with all of them. Even the kittens will need to be trapped and fixed or they will soon be breeding too. :nervous: :vibes::vibes:

  Your kitties are beautiful
! SO is your guest Momma and her babies
!
To her and her kittens, I hope you can catch the adults and spay/neuter them, or you could have a serious white kitty invasion!
The pictures of Dobby starring at the fish tank are priceless

I love white cats! But it is true that albinos, of any species including human, have pink eyes as well as the white hair/fur. Their sight is often very poor as well. White cats can have eyes of any colour, though those with blue eyes are often deaf owing to a genetic abnormality. Two of mine have amber eyes and one has green, and their sight and hearing are normal.

As mentioned, true albino would have pinkish red eyes. The white color on cats actually goes over the basic tabby pattern. In a sense, white cats are bi-colors where the white took over all the way, to the very tip. They sometimes have a few dark hairs on the top of the head, just to prove that ;) Albino cats, on the other hand, have a genetic mutation that means no pigments can be created in their body. They're extremely rare and vulnerable.
