My cat Ziggy (RIP) was a character. He would climb on the headboard of my bed. When he was directly behind me he would lean over my face and gently tap me on the nose until I woke up. I would open my eyes and he would be about an inch above me. He also loved to antagonize my husband.Every time hubby put down a glass full of water, coffee etc. Ziggy would climb on the table and knock it over. He would then just tip-toe away  lay down and then look my hubby directly in the eye as if to say "what are you going to do about it" I miss that cat. One of my current cats steals whatever he can and hides it under my desk. More than once I have caught him with my cell phone between his teeth attempting to haul it away.I have only had him for 1 month who knows what else he will be up to.
Oh, Ziggy does sound like a character and I'm sure you do miss him!  New kitty sounds like a character in the making--trying to haul off the cell phone?!  It will be fun to see what he tries next....

My Olive melts my heart when she sleeps by tucking her face deep between her paws, I've never seen a cat do that before and I just absolutely die every time she does it

My kitty jasper (rip) used to sit like Garfield did. We thought he thought he was human because anytime we would eat dinner he would be sitting on the chair next to me eating his supper. I miss him and his quirky little ways.

Blighty makes me laugh when having their usual silent Night fight he stands back with his ears back staring at whisky and then he suddenly leaps on whisky's head with his paws round his neck biting his head and the fighting starts again. And then they start washing each other.

I like when Bella & Thunder chase each other and then play fight. and end up licking each others face.

My little kitty Monkey tries to stay up late with me some nights, and one night she was nodding off and trying so hard to stay awake, when suddenly her head drops and almost slams her face onto my bed. She stayed there the rest of the night. It took everything I had not to laugh and wake her up. It was so funny, it still makes me giggle when I think about it :)

Oh, too cute!  Like a little kid who doesn't want to miss out on any of the fun.

They suddenly like being covered with the sheet when I'm making the bed and bashing whoever is hiding on the head. Such violence.

A new thing Jasper does is meow and yawn at the same time. It gives me quite a giggle. He has taken to some pretty persistant meowing in the evenings, mostly in the kitchen. He's always yawned a lot too. I guess it was inevitable he would end up doing it at the same time.

Bella & Thunder knows when its time to eat. I stand by the sink to do dishes and they think I'm going to feed them.

Well, the behavior isn't all that unique or anything but I have two kitties sleeping nearby, about a foot away from each other, both of them snoring.  One breathes in, while the other is breathing out.  They've got quite a rhythm going.  It's the funniest noise--and it's making me laugh right now, anyway.  Too cute.

Thankfully my herd will only be increasing in size until the kittens are ready to go to their new homes. I'll have 9 felines in the house until the end of October. 6 kittens and three adults. The momma will be going home to the in laws and I'll be keeping one kitten. Putting my small but thundering herd up to three lol
My 2 have just been thundering forward one way and back the other. Really sounds like a herd of bison.

Blighty doesn't really meow properly. He squeaks more than meows but it's do sweet when his squeak turns into a yawn.

Gnarly starts aggressively making biscuits on my inner upper arm (ouch) then she'll lean in and attempt to suckle from it. I burst out in laughter each time.
Yes our two kittens do the same. One makes biscuits in our hair the other does it to our kids sleep toys. It's the suckling that cracks me up!! They both do it in the night when we are trying to sleep - that part is not so funny after a while.

I've just started a new hobby and Mouse has discovered a new game....   I got stuff to experiment with needle felting today and when Mouse was having his naps I spent a few hours creating a two little creatures that were recogniseable as mini cats  (well from some angles anyway).

Mouse came through when I was taking a break and instantly spotted the first one I'd made. He jumped straight up and batted it out of the bowl I'd put it down in.  I retrieved said felt 'cat' and played DaBird for a bit to tire him out before going back to make a second 'cat'. I didn't notice but he'd sneaked back up and stolen the 'cat' again.....  I put the second one in the bowl and went to see where he'd stashed the first one but Mouse instantly raced past me with a glint in his eye and the second 'cat' in his mouth, hanging by the tail!  I caught up and got that one back fast as I could coz I'd experimented with bits of wire to stiffen the legs. It is now safely shut away in a cupboard.  I've hunted for ages and still can't find the original one!!!

At least if I fail to make anything half decent as little animals I can use the stuff to make cat toys.
