Stopped there just for cat food and litter and ended up spending $60. I think I'd better stay away from that store, but their prices just can't be beat. Home now relaxing --- hot hot outside today! Kitties are napping for a change! what a life they have!

Cat expenses add up, don't they?

I tend to just get bits regularly so I don't get a rude shock

If you can afford cat items it is well worth it like a cat tree. I can't afford one right now .I buy can food and 9Lives dry and Bella & Thunder have toys and are in my opinion are happy cats. I can't afford to go to Walmart and spend $ 60.00 in one pop.

go type in ''100 things to do at  Walmart when you are bored'' . There are lots of answers which are very funny.

I just got my credit card bill in and it's ridiculous how much I spent at Walmart!

Their prices are good, no doubt. Our Wal Mart is never a pleasant shopping experience. I prefer Target, except they don't have the selection to choose from that Wal Mart does. I have to drive thirty miles to get there so if I can buy locally at the Dollar General or Family Dollar, I go there.

Tonight I had a similar experience at Target. You go in for the things on your list, then you leave the store with two kitty collar bowties for your boy kitties. Yeah...that happened! :flail: (They look quite dapper too!) :D

That reminds me. Going to Walmart Wed. Need salt for the water unit, ant killer, a/c filters and who knows what else we'll discover.

Where my cats are
We were at Walmart almost every single day last week.  DH injured his hand right as company was coming to town (his mom and step-dad).  If I wasn't there for groceries for the weekend, it was the pharmacy, or just first aid supplies, or more food for the week.  Or more first aid stuff we didn't know we'd need.  By then it was the next weekend and we needed more groceries!  My 3 year old has taken to asking me every day if it's time to go to Walmart!  It's both sad and funny!

That's how it feels for me!  One list and then the things I forgot.  Or DH forgot.
I'm going today for the least expensive lamp on the shelf...I'll report back later on what ends up in my trunk
.
That's one stop I need to make there.  We picked up 3 torcher style lamps there years ago.  They were cheap but we've gotten our moneys worth.  The base of one fell apart a couple years ago.  But the other 2 were going strong; till my 1 year old found knocking one over a game.  It still works; but it's hard to turn it on and off and that makes me a little nervous.  Hopefully when we do replace these we'll find something decent!

I'm a Target fan. We'll hit Target with my coupons and our 5% card and it's unreal how much we buy there.

We get a 5% card every time we fill 5 prescriptions (easy to do with both Rick and me). Then we can use that card for a day of shopping. Plus, often, they'll have a special that if you buy something, you get a $5 gift card for next time. Since there's always a next time, we save quite a bit overall....between my coupons, the gift cards, and the 5% card, it works out well.

You can't be on a Walmart thread if you are a Target fan . (just kidding)
Walmart has been my store for a long time. I buy my grandkids school clothes there and we go to JC Penny.and Deb's
