It's a question that comes up very often here.

This post is just a quick reminder to all of us, to please please please review foods that you tried in our Reviews section. When you enter a review you can quickly sum up the good and the bad and give stars to your your favorite (or not so favorite) cat foods. Let's build this resource together, for other cat lovers to quickly see what we as a community think about leading brand names.

http://www.thecatsite.com/products/category/cat-food

The more reviews we have, the stronger our voice as a community. Industry leaders are reading these reviews, so your feedback can make a real difference and benefit cats and cat owners everywhere.

I have tried to get various flavors of the same food under one product listing. If you feel there are cases where specific formulas/flavors should have separate listings, please let me know, either in this thread or via PM. Also, we may be missing some products, so by all means, give me a shout and let me know what needs to be added for you to review!

Thank you!

I clicked on your link. After being redirected, there were 39 pages of cat food products. I went through every page. The wet canned cat food I feed my cat is Nutro Natural Choice in their different flavors and also different textures.

Nutro cat food either dry or wet canned cat food............isn't even listed anywhere on those 39 pages. Is this an oversight since this brand is sold at both Petsmart and Petco?

Thank you so much for taking the time to go through the pages. I'll definitely add these tomorrow (posting from my phone right now so it'll have to wait).

Our current database of products is pulled from Amazon. There are quite a few products missing, I'm sure! The easiest way to see if a particular brand/item is there is probably using the search function. Again, probably quite a few products missing and I'll definitely add whatever's needed!
Thank you!

I'd love to see reviews for the following raw brands as well:

Red Dog Blue Kat: http://www.reddogdeli.com/

Primal: http://www.reddogdeli.com/

Rad Cat (which I believe is pretty brand new): http://www.radfood.com/

I know my girls love them all, but I'll admit to being a newbie with the whole raw feeding thing, and I'd love to get some input from some other cat people who know their stuff.

Primal and Nutro products added! They were easy because they're in Amazon's database. I will add the other two brands later today. I got to run now and they will be more time consuming.

I wanted to go review the Tiki Cat varieties I've tried, but there's only a specific flavor listed. Is there a way you could group all Tiki Cat into one and then the reviewer can specify which kind the review is for?

So sorry about the late reply (I've been traveling
), but I can't find the Tiki products in the Reviews section at all. Can you please link me to the product page you found? I will gladly edit it to cover all of the flavors.

Can this thread please be pinned to the board? I am so glad I found it because the link to the reviews is super-helpful. Luckily it happens to be on the first page at the moment, but I think it deserves to be pinned up permanently to guide people to that link.

Thank you!

Hi, Can you list Natural Balance grain free Alpha Turkey
and NB Rabbit Indoor.
Also, Whiskas pate
Thank you.  I feed my cat only pate, he doesn't like other Whiskas, so I don't know if I should review the other cuts of meats from Whiskas.

Natural Balance has many flavors of canned food and some are loved and some are rejected.  Thank you for your time.

It's actually a constant dilemma on the reviews section: should different flavors be listed as separate products or not. I chose to get all flavors together under one listing in most cases. I think that for most people, product evaluation is focused on things other than flavor. That said, cats can have their flavor preferences for sure. For now, since we don't have a huge bulk of reviews, I think it's best to keep them under one listing, regardless of flavor, and then mention the flavor preference in the review itself.

Does that make sense? For example, if you were to review Natural Balance canned food, you can give it an overall review and then mention which flavors you've tried, and how well they were received by the  cats.

Thank you for the feedback and I'm so glad you found the reviews section helpful! Can you please elaborate more about how you found the section? We do have a link to the Reviews section as part of the top navigation menu (the reddish bar at the top of the page which says Home - Forums - Reviews - etc.

If you mean the Ziwi Peak Daily Cat Cuisine, I've added it. The only other thing I can find is Petite Cuisine.
