When a product you buy has a mail away rebate, do you bother sending away for it?

I'm filling one out now for $5, so that is worth it. I don't always bother when it is for only $1.

No rebates for what we buy but pepboys and you can do the rebate online-it is great as I am always on web so very easy.  I also do paw points online(enter code of fresh step litter certain amount of points and you get a prize of your choice

I usually will fill out rebate forms. I will also always do surveys on your receipts. They turn into coupons which means savings.

I am also dorky and like reading surveys and other forms of demographic data collection. lol.

I do. Even for one dollar. Every little bit helps.

We do the surveys on the backs of receipts, too.

We do!  We've had a few good ones too.

I sometimes do the surveys on receipts too; but sometimes I forget the coupon you get for it or it will expire.  I always take my kids to the Stride Rite store for shoes and they usually give one; but it's only good for 3 months and I don't generally buy them shoes THAT often.

Yeah it doesn't make sense to buy shoes when you don't need them yo save $5 or whatever. I don't usually get surveys for places like that.

You might have to buy shoes that often at some ages. My brother is 13 and driving my mom crazy because he is changing sizes that quickly right now. He went through 2 pairs of cleats already this spring.

Surveys on receipts I do too if I don't forget. If it's just 1.00 maybe, but if it is 3 -5.00 dollars more yes.

Oh yes, we do rebates ALL the time. Larry is big on that one! We even have mail-in rebates for the Movi-Prep for our C-Scopes. :flail: :lol3: Yep - we are big rebaters.

It depends on how much it's for. If it's only a few dollars, no I don't bother.  But when I got my kitchen aid attachments, they each came with a rebate of $20 to $40.  So I sent away for those.

I rarely get rebates on food items because I don't buy a ton of prepared food. The one I filled out the other day was for replacement heads for our Sonicare toothbrush. I've done cat litter rebates before, as well as lawn fertilizer, etc.

I don't know if I have ever done a survey on the bottom of a receipt. :lol3: Maybe I'll have to start.

My friend does those all of the time. I can't be bothered, lol  However, she does get a lot of free stuff by doing it.  We go out a few times a month for dinner and quite often she has free appetizer or 1/2 price entree coupons from doing those types of surveys.
