HI everyone. I just found your site yesterday as I was surfing the web for all things cat related. I have already found some great ideas on here that I can't wait to try.
Thought I would introduce myself and my 3 fur children. I have had cats my entire life (41 years) and even shared a birthday with my first one. Below are pictures of my 3 babies.
This is Belle, she is 14 years old and the matriarch of the house. My husband and I rescued her when we got married. She is very laid back but doesn't like to be held. She sat on my lap for the first time about 6 months ago when we were getting ready to move. She still doesn't do it often, but at least I know she can now.
This is Demon, he is 4 years old. He doesn't know he is really a cat. He thinks he is my son. I got him a couple weeks after I lost my Jenny who I had for 18 years. He was 8 weeks old and came from animal control. He was meant to be my daughter's Christmas present but as we all know, cats choose their people and he decided I was his. He is my shadow and the most personable cat I have ever had. Pringles are his favorite treat and thanks to them I have taught him to sit!
And lastly is Miss Violet, 10 months old. She came to us through a series of unfortunate events, hence the name. Again, another rescue. She only had another week before they were to put her down. Right before spring break I lost my 10 year old Anya to cancer and Belle let me know in no uncertain terms that Demon needed a playmate that wasn't her. I went online and fell in love with Violet. She is a family cat and she plays with Demon nonstop. All in all a great addition.
