Hello everyone, im still new to this and would like some advice please, My Cat callie is pregnant about 8 1/2 weeks now I reckon, I asked a friend of mine who's cat had kittens a few years ago about cats milk, and I keep getting conflicting advice so I thought all of you cat lovers might be able to answer this, is there any obvious signs when her milk is there? Some say it can drip and others say it can look like powder on the nipples, I was having a look at her nipples a little while ago and some feel rough almost like a crust is this normal? And long before birth does the milk normally come in?

Any advice given is much appreciated, im getting a bit anxious myself but very excited also lol :wavey:

Thank you Gemma121, im just a bit worried as her hair round her nipples hasnt gone either, she isnt a ling haired cat but she's not exactly short haired either, she is really fluffy on her belly, she has a lot of what looks like black specs round her nipples too is that normal?

How many kittens did your cat have?

My cat had her 6 kitty's early this morning plus she has still got a pile of hair around the nipples so I wouldn't worry to much :)
