Does anyone have experience with feline breast cancer? Might this be it? Sorry about picture quality. 3 lumps, one around her nipple, originally there was one. They've grown rapidly. They are hard. She doesn't react to them being touched. She has not been acting differently. I'm going to bring her to the bet as soon as I get my first paycheque, but I'm worried about them trying to rip me off with unnecessary tests and such, as I'm a student with little income.
Anyone have experience with this?

Just felt under the lumps, discovering more under the skin. My poor sweet Vivienne.

Was she recently pregnant, or spayed?  I so, it could be Mastitis, or related to the spay.

Here is a thread where the cat being discussed had a similar issue, however, keep in mind this thread is a couple of years old,and the original poster never came back on and told the final results from the 2nd Vet visit

If it IS breast cancer, she can actually have a mastectomy and chemo, just like with humans.  There are a couple of cats recently who have gone thru it here on this site.  But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet.  Could be something less intrusive.  Let's hope

I was thinking about Mastitus, however she has not recently been either, and the swelling is definitely localized. It's only her bottom left breasts. If it were a false pregnancy wouldn't all of the ducts be swollen with milk? Also, I noticed the bump some time ago, when there was one, and it was quite small. Now there are the three large visible ones, and many smaller ones beneathe the skin. :(

So I'm guessing she has not been spayed? If she hasn't been, her chances of getting breast cancer are higher. She really needs a vet visit at this point. We're all just guessing and can't help. I'm so sorry for your kitty and hope it's something treatable.
