Why, oh why do I torture myself on Petfinder.com????

I just can't help it! I love looking at all the pretty kitties! And it's just so darn heart-wrenching, especially on the ones where it says they'll be euthanized! Sometimes, I book-mark a couple of really sweet-looking ones, who are in rescue groups that don't euthanize. I check back periodically, to see if the page is still there, and am so happy when it's not, since it means the kitty was adopted. Here's a couple that I really think are cute:

And yes, they're all black. If I got another, I think it would be neat to have a black one, since I already have a white one. But alas . . . Alex says no . . .

I go through the same thing with Rob. I want another cat, but he says "Only when I get a dog."

So... I have a ways to wait.

Yeah,I do the same dang thing.I don't know why I look at it either.It's so depressing to see all those animals knowing a LOT of them are gonna be euthanized.I was looking on there this morning at a shelter in Atlanta that someone had posted.All those kitties to be PTS on the 1st.What a waste.There were cats and kittens.I don't know why,but the cats bother me worse than the kittens(kittens still bothers me pretty bad though)I guess I'm thinking that the kittens never knew what they were missing.I don't know,but it's just so pitiful.I get sick everytime I look on there and I'm like you I don't know why I torture myself.

I don't look at petfinder for 1) all the cats are far away anyway and 2) mum wouldn't let me pick up some random cat just because it's about to be PTS

i sometimes browse petfinder and look at all the cuties. there are so many! I find one i really like and I want to bring them home right away.
