It was exactly 4 years ago on May 4th that I adopted Sweetie from an area vet clinic that also does rescues and operates a small no-kill shelter. A few months after the loss of my previous cat, Snowball, I was looking for a new cat and saw Swwetie's pictures and information on Petfinder. I made an appointment to see him and decided to adopt him and the shelter felt I was the perfect owner for Sweetie, so I brought him home a few days later. He was 3 years old at the time of his adoption so now he's 7.
His name at the shelter was Sweetie and I decided not to change it because the name fit him so perfectly. He is the nicest most gentle cat and has a very even temperment. Even after 4 years I haven't heard him hiss or growl even once. I don't have pictures of him to share, but to give you an idea of what he looks like, he is an average looking DSH black cat.
