I've not mentioned what's wrong with her because I havnt wanted to talk about it....I still dont. I just want you guys to pray for her. Grandma has uterine cancer her surgery is Friday. I am scared that the full hysterectomy at her age (70's) will kill her or that the cancer has spread. Pray she will live, have no complications, and that everything can return back to normal. Also if something happens that we(family) will all be OK. I still havnt gotten enough money saved up...so I dont know where I will go...if something happens to her and I dont get online any this weekend, it means the worst happened. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes.

Positive healing thoughts and prayers are on the way to your grandma. I hope the doctors can remove all the cancer.

P.S. I agree with Sherral.
ALSO...Sometimes when people develop serious life-threatening diseases or have other serious problems, they change their mind about believing in God. I hope your grandma will be one of those people.

I know...it seems kinda selfish for me to have wished she would find God this way, but I do. I'd much rather her have done it by listening to me or the family or by going back to church. She stopped going years ago when my Dad was a kid.

She has caused me alot of H#!!, and times have come where I wanted to be FAAAAAR away from here (and her). Odd thing is when something like this happens it changes your perspective of how you feel about that person. I still have alot of painfull memories, but I cant say I want anything to happen. It's odd, but I'm terrified about this.

I am so sorry your grandmother is sick! One a semi-bright note they wouldn't be operating if they didn't think she's got a good chance.

I know first hand how hard it is to watch a loved one battling cancer. I'm worried about your grandmother, but I'm also worried about YOU. You need to take care of yourself too. Make sure to take time for yourself. You won't do anyone any good if you're burnt out. I know you said you don't want to talk about it here, but it's a good idea to have someone you can talk to, and I mean someone you'll be comfortable with, not someone you have to mince words with, or hold things back because you're embarassed. Speaking from experience if you try to hold it all in to present a strong front to everyone it's gonna explode out sometime, most likely at the WORST possible time.

I'm not being pessimistic here. Even if everything comes out wonderfully there are going to be alot of emotions running around! I'll be thinking of your Grandmother, you and your family!
