How to download pictures from mobile phone?

Hello fellow cat lovers,
Only joined the site at the weekend and want to add an avatar picture of my cat Ginny and also put pictures on my threads. How do I do this from my mobile phone? I have an iPhone and took piccys on there. When I have tried to add them, it comes up asking for a URL, which I don't know where that is on my pictures. Can anyone help me please?

Just email or message the pics to yourself, then download to your computer, and upload to the site.

If you are using the mobile site, it's quite easy. Check to see if you are by scrolling to the bottom of the forum and clicking on mobile. It should give you he option to upload from device if you are on the mobile site, it won't if you are on the desktop site on your phone. If you are still having problems from the mobile site, let me know and I will try to get a few screenshots from my phone. :)

Wow....I didn't know there was a mobile site.....that would make it really easy.

I've checked and I am on the mobile site. When I click the Picture icon, it comes up with a box that says Embed an image, then inside the box there is a space to type and it is shadowed with the words enter an image URL. I cannot see any URL on my pictures.

Ok, I just took a screen shot. You don't have the upload from device like I do? What version IPhone do you have?

Wow, I am stunned. I didn't know you could upload directly from a phone on the mobile version. So this means I could upload from my nook color?

Maybe. :). Not all browsers and platforms are supported right now, but it is definitely worth a try. :nod:
