HELP, poorly baby :(

Hi all,

Iv recently posted on the site about adopting an abandoned kitten a week ago, he is around 7 weeks old. He seemed to settle in really well but over the past couple of days he has had quite runny poo, and he meows on his tray before he poos. And this morning he was sick a little bit, I'm worried. He is not lethargic, he was running around and playing fine after he was sick and had a poo. He has also just has a big drink of water.

However..

He was wormed the other day
We didn't know what he was been fed before with him being abandoned so he has had a quick diet change

Could any of these play a part?

All of this can play a part.  What was he wormed with?  And what are you feeding him on?

Think I would be doing a vet visit if he was mine, if only for peace of mind.

Thank you for the reply, we're going to take him to the vets this afternoon.

He had panacur over 3 days and he's being fed wet kitten food with dry food to nibble

I'm just more worried because he is so young and left him mummy early
