Three Cat Birthday

Merlin turned 4 on April 4th, and Shareena and Miss Patchwillow are 6 years old today, April 7th. So they aren't quite triplets, but they get to celebrate their birthdays together. Naturally they all decided that they weren't going to cooperate with the photographer for birthday pictures. :hmm:

Shareena at 7.5 weeks, first day home

Happy birthday to all three.  Merlin has the most beautiful fur I have seen in a while. It looks like a bunny. I love his long, lean, elegant looks. I take it that Shareena and Miss Patchwillow (love this name) are litter mates.

Yes, they're littermates. I got Shareena when she was just over 7 weeks old, far too young but I didn't know that at the time. The mom's owner started giving the kittens away at 6 weeks. I got Miss Patchwillow 6 weeks later because she was the last kitten left and mom's owner was going to take her to a shelter.

Thanks. Merlin is actually one of my smaller kitties, just about 9#. He's longer and slimmer than Miss Patchwillow, my other 9# kitty.
