Good morning!

I've always been a get-it-done fast person, and I take showers because they are quick. But lately I've discovered baths, epsom salt baths in particular and they sure are great! Seems it makes you relax whether you want to or not.
I was researching the many benefits of epsom salts and it's some kind of miracle thing, which makes me wonder...

Do you take baths? Do you add epsom salts, bubbles, seaweed, or anything else to your bath?

I always add bubble bath, lavender, it makes bathtime relaxing (plus the tub doesn't get a ring). I do add epsom salts at times, it is soothing and good for you. If you have some left over add it to your garden, it's a wonderful fertilizer!

I can't even tell you when I last took a bath, it has to be many years.  I'm a shower person and always have been.  As you said, it's quicker and I feel cleaner with a shower rather than soaking in a tub but that's just me.

I prefer showers, I agree that it feels cleaner and it's quicker.
However, I do like the occasional bath when I need to relax. We have really hard water here so I always add salts, and something nice and bubbly for the fun of it. :)

A couple months ago I was super stressed out one day and I hadn't had a chance to shower; so I put the kids down for naps and filled my tub and used this lavender vanilla bubble bath.  Its technically it's baby bubble bath but it smells great!

I discovered my tub is way too small for a bath.  I am too tall for my tub....  and I managed to pull a muscle trying to get out!
So much for a relaxing bath!

I do have some epsom salts I'll just soak my feet in sometimes.  DH will pretzel himself in the tub with the epsom salts from time to time too if he has body aches from work.  I think they have added eucalyptus.

I love taking long hot baths with lavender bubble bath. I always take both nooks, two bottles of water, some wintergreen mints, and a can of Mt.Dew Throwback and sometimes a can of Pringles

By long, I mean an hour to an hour and a half.  It drives the ladies crazy that the bathroom door is shut for that long, but they love the way I smell of lavender afterward.

Just to be clear, I am a 59 year old male that is a Vietnam War veteran who served on an atomic hunter-killer submarine.

Don't worry; the snacks (especially the pringles) totally give you away as a man!  (I just hope you don't leave pringle crumbs behind!
)  And Hey; I admitted my DH (also former military) takes a bath here and there!

Ditto, I only sit in it when I'm too sick to do otherwise. I do miss my last Japanese apartment that had a soaking tub. Can get the water up to your chin. I took a bath everyday there. Aya used to like to sit on the corner and dip her tail in.

I'm the one who cleans the tub and bathroom, so it doesn't matter if I leave crumbs. If they fall into the water, they just dissolve.

If .. and when I truly indulge .. there is always a long, hot bath including a bottle of any super tuscan sangiovese & some high end smoked gouda involved

Pringles?    .. now ya got me to wonderin how well they go with wine.  LOL

Rick wants to start working on the plans for re-doing the bathroom. The first thing he's doing is taking out the bathtub. We don't take baths; I can't tell you when the last time was that we took a bath. We'd like to have a really large shower stall instead of the bathtub, large enough for both of us to get in at the same time. Save water; shower with your spouse!

(We stayed at a B & B at Niagara-on-the-Lake several years ago. I swear you could have fit six people in that gorgeous shower stall in the bathroom....it was just gorgeous. And it's been on Rick's mind ever since. As soon as we got home, we bought a large rainshower shower head for our bathroom.)

Bath, with bubble bath or bath bombs

When l had my bathroom remodelled l picked a really deep bath to relax in and l love it.

I had the shower removed, because even though my bathroom was warm l used to shiver as soon as l stepped out the shower
