i believe that momma may have pulled to hard while trying to get the umbilical cord off, it almost looks like part of its intestine maybe, i dont know what it is!! Im very nervous...

This is actually a birth deformity. I had a kitten from a previous rescue mama born like this- with intestines and liver outside of the body. That kitten died within an hour, all of the rest were fine. there was another rescuer on here who had the same thing happen and the kitten passed overnight. I've read that there is a surgery that can possibly put the intestines back inside the kitten and to stitch up the abdominal wall, but not sure how much it costs and i'm sure it depends on how serious it is (sometimes just a little piece pokes out, sometimes it's like the one I witnessed with the entire intestines and another organ).

You're sure it's not the umbilical cord and placenta, right? Sometimes if you haven't witnessed a birth they can confuse that. If you're sure it's not them, then it's what I said above. Good luck- so sorry you have to deal with this :(

I'm sorry hun, it's very hard to deal with. If you can afford to, phone a vet and see if they advise you to bring it in. Mine passed within an hour of it being born while mama was still delivering the other kittens. I just wrapped her up in a towel and she passed quickly

It will pass on. By itself or with your help. Like 99% of them do (this surgery is very unusual).

Do name it before the end comes, if you wish.

As Clynn said, not common but it happens now and then.

Feeling with you.

Keep reporting on the rest of them, mommy and the surviving siblings!

Good luck!

Thank you very much, we have in total 3 orange tabbys, which are boys i would think. And we have 2 little girl calicos, which its one of our girls that is fighting for her life. I just hate to see her suffer, i just dont know what else to do.

There's really nothing else you can do. My momma disowned the baby immediately, so I took her and just kept her warm- gave her some kisses on the nose and told her it was ok to go. Mine passed really quickly , but unfortunately that was because when momma disowned it she bit into it's organs and set it to the side. It was horrible to watch and I hated seeing her suffer. If she's still alive in the morning and seems to be suffering, i'd take her in to be euthanized.

Ok thank you, she is a fighter for sure, momma knows something is wrong and has just been laying face to face with her. Its so heartbreaking to see.
