The house down the road from me is being fixed and has new owners moving in. The windows to the house are busted. The previous owner had a cat, when she died the cat was forced to live outside and I was feeding it. However, the cat all these months has been going in and out of the house through the open windows.

The house is now sealed and locked until the new owners move in. I havent seen the cat for a week (since the house started being worked on). I fear the cat is locked inside, but the owners never were told about the cat, and I dont know who the new owners are or their contact info to ask them if I could go in and see if ym cat is inside.

It could be weeks before anyone goes in, what can I do i'm afraid she will starve to death!

Do you know who sold the house (the agents)?  Could you contact them?

It could be that the cat has been found and taken somewhere.. but I would be like you and really want to check, as the cat may have hid when things were fixed.  Can you go and look in the windows?  Would the cat come if you called?  What about asking other neighbours?

I found someone who is going with me to the house to look for the cat, hopefully I will find her.

I do hope that IF the cat is locked in the house you will soon find out. Most likely, though, the cat has run off when all of the work was going on. But, yes, possible the cat hid somewhere inside the house. I would also try to find the selling agents or even the company who did the work. Maybe that person who you found has access to the inside of the house. Let us know. Good luck and mega vibes for this cat. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Went by the house and happened to see the owners Brother who was watching over the house while work is being done. First off the new owners are a friend of the evil lady who wanted to kill the cats, so i'm worried about that hoping they arent evil like her! He said the crawl space where the cat usually hides has been sealed for good and that he checked and no animal was there, but I still worry that a terrified cat might have hid so good he didnt see her, and she is presumably dead now if she was there in the crawlspace. :(

The brother said he owns a cat and likes cats so hopefully he was being honest and that he really cared. I told him to leave some cat food out and see if its eaten overnight, so I gave him cat food. I explained the situation and gave a photo of the cat and my phone number so he could contact me as soon as he sees anything.

I'm hoping for for the best someone sees her alive!
