The kitties are now 2.5 wks old.
how do i teach them that playing(grabbing and nibbling) are not okay on the hands? (;^; two of my fingers are currently on fire from an incident while playing with momma cat (my fault lol i should of known she was frisky and to only toss the toys but instead i thought of dangling it up near her paws)). (and yes i washed with soap and have bandades on them lol)
and how could i best help the momma when shes stressing out and giving me pleading looks and meows when her 6 kittens are walking (wobbling, frog legging it) off and leaving the nest and she cant keep one there to go get another one. she hurt one yesterday while grabing it in her mouth like momma cats do. she dropped him and licked him then meowed and eyed them all and pacing around , all while meowing frantically and looking at me every few seconds.
i tried moving them into the box i made her about 2weeks ago (which would let her in, but keep them from getting out). but she didnt want that and moved one back to the original spot that they are now (corner of my room on the floor). then she got me to help her move the rest back as she went back to the other one and laid down looking at me expectantly. all kittens there she was happy again, now they are trying to roam again and shes going into a panic once again.

on a side note, kittens are supose to have blue eyes correct? well what does it mean if they have green eyes? they went from black eyes (one on birthday had its eyes open-also known as my special little kitty) and now theres some with black still and one with green eyes that have blue added into it around the pupil, and the others have green eyes.

thanks again!!!
(when i move this next week and get internet set up it will be a lot easier for me to give to the forum instead of always taking) *currently using iphone4 with a limited data plan*

The problem with scattering kittens I think all cat moms do have...   :)   The only you can do is to have them in ONE room, which you make as safe as you can, so mom accepts the whole room as their safety zone.

Dont forget non clumping litter.

The second, not to play with your hands?  And before all, not play "bite the hands" The only safe is to NOT play with your hands. Use toys instead.

There will still be some friendly chewing.   I dont think it is harmful for onyone.  If you mind or it hurts, do hiss on them, like their pals would do when they bite too hard.

Good luck!
