I can sympathize there.  My hometown has this awesome Greek restaurant.  Love love love their food.  Where I live has absolutely no Greek restaurants.  Only some knockoff items on you average-joe type restaurant menus.  They also have a great Polish market and I just cooked up the very last of my stash of kielbasa and pierogis 2 nights ago.  I'm hoping my Dad will come visit in a few months and replenish my stash!!

I can't get enough hot sauce either. I love Franks Red Hot on almost anything.
The weird thing is I don't like my hot sauce TOO hot.  I'm using the Texas Pete one now and it's good for me.  I go for mild salsa too.

Right now?

An earl grey tea with honey, and some chocolate coated sultanas.  And I'm going to have them..

Mind you, that pear and elderberry sparkling water sounds VERY nice.....

Ok, so it seems a few threads are getting a bit food obsessed, :lol3: So what are you craving right now? Lets see how many say chocolate chip cookies? :lol3:

I'd like something sweet with chocolate. I haven't narrowed it down specifically though. :lol3:
Well, right now I'm eating a box of Girl Scout Thin Mints so I'm not craving chocolate. Earlier I was craving something salty so I had some pretzels :D

What am I craving?  TUMS!

I went to the US today, and stayed with my friend's family. We ate East Indian food all weekend, and they worked me up the spice level tree! I've got major heartburn!  LOL

The last thing I craven was mashed potatoes and gravy. I made it for dinner on Monday. Now my cravings are satisfied, at least for now.

Pickles! We need to buy some more lol.
Pickles! Oh, I love pickles! Any kind of pickles!

The other year I started canning and the first thing I did was can bread-and-butter pickles, followed by some lime pickles. And then Lizzie, from TCS, gave me her recipe for cinnamon pickles, so I made some of those, too. Last year, I was heartbroken when our cuke plants developed a fungus and couldn't be saved (believe me, we tried and tried to save those plants). The only thing I got was the cinnamon pickles, which were devoured quickly, and some bread-and-butter pickles....I still have a couple jars of those left.

I love pickles!!

I have a 12 year old granddaughter who loves pickles too.So every time I go shopping I pick her up a jar of pickle spears. I love the midgets.
