Hi summoplex and welcome!

I've just been through a whole 'bump on the nose' saga with my boy.  It's a sebaceous cyst, which are benign but can cause problems. Sometimes they need to be aspirated or cut out. Your kitty's looks big and and is probably uncomfortable if not painful. There are things that can happen, depending on what is causing it.. For example if they burst, especially on the face, it's quite risky.  I'd definitely take her/him to the vet.

Someone else may know more about what it's likely to be here.

Please do keep us posted!

I would check with the vet about it. I went through the same thing several years ago with Swanie.  However, my vet said that she had encountered at least one other case where it was cancer.  We chose to have it removed and biopsied because of that.

I've just quoted my own post as it sounds like I'm saying your cat's is a sebaceous cyst and I didn't mean that.. just that that is what Sundar had.  I could be any number of things.

Do let us know how you get on

I have a cat who was born August 15, 2014 and in the last few weeks has been getting what looks like a roman nose.
