I decided to do it myself from a "DO IT YOURSELF VIDEO" I used starter fluid for cars to knock him out and a steak knife for scapel. He is doing great runs around the house  meowing and howling 24 hours a day.

NO just wanted to put you all in shock lol. I took him to "Animal Friends" about 25 minutes from my house, I dropped him off at 7:30am and Picked him up at 5:30 PM. all the kitties were drugged up. in the morning they were meowing like crazy, then at night when we all went to get our cats they were silent from the drugs. Its also a nice place to meet pretty women also lol. But she gave us all our instructions and said feed him a little at first then whatever he can eat about 6-8 hours later. she said try not to let him lick his jewels constantly, I can smell the spray smell , I dunno if its on his legs and area or it releases a little when he licks. Its not much just like a wiff or 2.

I was going to use the spray bottle with warm water and clean in his region, but that would freak him out and she said not to get him excited or play, just let him sleep a lot. so last night he woke me up at 3:30am ready to eat, looked as high as a kite, lol, and ate an entire can went to the litter box fine then slept all day while I was tired all day.

His  "I wanna go outside" has dropped big time, he just sniffs the door and follows me where I go, no meow's, or howling, so I hope that keeps up. So for $25 across the board I guess I got a good Deal. The drugs are totally wore off and he is now wiped out sleeping on the bed. I'm expecting him to sleep all night, he just ate another whole can of Turkey and pumpkin mix. I'm going to leave a bowl Of "kit and Kaboodle" in case he wakes up hungry, no more football, hockey , The Amazing Race  and Big Brother will be on at night when they start, So I'll sleep until noon plus.

Oh yeah the Animal Rescue league gave me a 16 pound bag of "Complete Kit and Kabodle" bag of food yesterday, I stopped in after I dropped Binky of a the Animal Friends hospital. So maybe I can get more in the future. She said Since I adopted the cat and paid for everything and my income was low and I was On SSA Disability they were able to give me help. So I'll see what happens . But So far I'm happy and Binky seems to be fine and I even just found out I have spinal disease, my neck pain is at a high level and I'm taking morphine 4 times a day, so next Friday I go to the specialist and see what they can do if anything. They may have to increase my dosage and implant a Morphine pump inside me. Well Binky will keep me cheerful.  C-ya for now

I am noticing huge changes in him, like he use to spend his time near the doors and just eat and sleep, nowI found him on my Chiuna closet upside down meaowing 2 days ago,and he races me up and down the steps, and the biggest of all, he was smelling bad from wizz/spray so I had to give him a bath and he didn't care, he just stayed still, moved a few times,I washed him and rinsed him in the bath tub. I them picked him up and held him in a thick bath towel and thenput him on the ground to get a dry towel and he just looked at me until I wrapped another towel around him and placed him on his spot on the bed, then he cleaned himself his way lol. he was so friendly and seemed happy all day after. wow

That's great! Your post made me smile
He went from a eating machine and litter box donator, and turned into a pet that actually looks at me and watches TV , hangs out and plays with out biting me.lol

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Oh I missed this the first time around! I'm so glad you found a place - they sound wonderful!

Isn't it amazing? They're so much happier without those hormones driving them nuts!

How are you doing? You going to be able to get the pump? My husband has chronic pain issues - not any that a pump could solve - but I know it's been a real miracle for many. :heart2: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes:

Hi sorry so long, I been somewhat busy, I have another bulging disk in my neck, so that makes 5-6  total. My Back Doctor  "tight" when it comes to surgery, he rather me ride it out with the pain and pain pills The pain itself interferes with my everyday life and I usually do my food shopping monthly. But I'm expecting my PCP DR. to jump in come April-May. I'm a little tired Of being a ginny pig  with all these meds blah. Binky is great he doesn't even go near the door, he just follows me everywhere I go in the house and he has hiding spots all over the house. He finds stuff that I forgot I even had. He found $115.00 I had in an envelope 5 years ago when I moved in here, It was in an envelope marked " county tax 2008 " . not sealed either, he placed it in front of my bedroom door. lol ut yes he has become the pet I was hoping he would, really playful, he started cleaning my fingers the other day, kiss me on the nose. he is just wonderful, I'm so lucky to have a lovable cat. I wish I would have found a cat before I got married, lol would have saved me on the divorce issues, all is well thanks.
