What is the recommended amount of food for a 1 year old cat? And what about vitamins, minerals , calcium, etc? Is there anything to help prevent falling fur. My cat pixel, has very short legs... I can't figure out if its nutritional problem or shes got munchkin genes.

What are you feeding her? It entirely depends on that
whether or not you need to add vitamins, etc.  In most cases, if the food says it's !00% nutritionally complete, then your good to go.

As far as how much, that also depends on how active she is, AND what you're feeding her.  You can start by what the package says, based on her weight.  Then go from there.  If she loses weight, add some, if she gains, don't feed as much.

As far as her being a Munchkin, I don't think her legs are quite that short.  My Callie has pretty short legs too.  As a matter of fact, she has the exact same body style as your Pixel (from what I can see), and the Vet has never, ever said she thought she was part Munchkin.  She's just short and squatty!

But your Pixel is quite the beauty.
(I saw your other thread where I could see her full face...lovely eyes!!!!!)
