If the kitten (4 months) only eats dry food is it ok to give him water with a syringe just to be safe? he drink a lot of water but i'm worried i don't want him to get sick.

Is it ok to do this?

HE IS NOT SICK i do this to be safe until i can change his diet.

Hi i too worry about feeding only dry cat food so I always put the dry food into some water which makes it semi moist they still eat it, and i just give a tiny amount of dry buiscuits for dental cleaning, good luck i hope this helps.

Most biscuits make very little difference to dental health.  If your kittens will chew on a raw chicken wing (whole!) that really does keep their teeth clean.

I also think you will find the kitten will rapidly develop an aversion to the syringe.  If you want him to get more water in his diet feed him mostly wet and/or raw food.  However if raw is a lot of his diet it does need to be correctly balanced.

NEVER, EVER give cooked chicken wings as the bones become brittle and dangerous.
