well.. i never thought i have to use this thread anytime soon but that is not what the lord wanted..

nazzy my 6 years old orange tabby was put to sleep just a while ago.. it broke my heart and i cried but i think it was best for her..

i found nazzy about 6 years ago in front of my home begging for food, i never saw her before.. i gave her some food and after a few months i adopted her, she was around 5 months old according to vet, i got her fixed and all the tests came negative...  a year later when i went to vet for check up the vet noticed her gums were not very normal so he did test her again and she diagnosed with feline  luekemia.. for the next five years i tried to make her happy, no stress, good food and plenty of things to play with.. she did fine till about a 2 weeks ago that she lost interest in things and things went downhill the last few days.. the nasty virus took over her body and not much can be done..

i stayed with her when they put her to sleep and she went peacefully..

nazzy is on pet heaven next to my other cat (siah) who died 2 and half years ago.. i hope she knows how much i love her and how much she will be missed..

RIP NAZZY

She looks like she had a very expressive face. I'm sorry for your loss.

I wish there was a cure for all of these terrible viruses.  it is just so sad.  Thank you for taking her in and showing her love for the 6 years of her too short life.  She had the best life she could have had with you.  {{{Hugs}}}

She was a blessed cat to have a family and someone who loved her. It is never easy to lose them, even when they get a diagnosis and you know time is running out. My heart hurts for you. I hope your memories will be sweet and bring you peace, knowing that your girl knew how much she was loved.

thanks..last nite it was tough, no sleep but i made it through, sure is a bad feeling not having her around anymore but not much can be done...

nazzy was very special cat to me , she was 90% ferral when i took her in but regardless of that or FELV i did not give up on her.. nazzy learned to trust me, she knew i love her.. sometimes she showed her love toward me in different ways.. nazzy learned to trust me to pet her and brush her hair, i use to call her is time to brush you and she showed up the same spot all the time .. i take her and my other cat outdoor twice a day and she loved it, she always followed me wher ever i go, she knew that i was there to protect her in case.. she learned when i say it is time for snack and she was right by patio door to come and eat her snack..

dear SKINNY CAT ( i called her that sometimes) i will be joining you soon and we will meet and be with each other again..

i have her cremate like my other cat and i will have her on top of my chest drawer next to her buddy SIAH... pix will follow

Rest In peace Nazzy! You are at the Rainbow Bridge running and jumping like never before. I lost my Peewee boy August 24th of this year. He gave me 15 wonderful years. It is very hard to loose your furry friend. I did what was best for him. It broke my heart and each day I talk with him on the way to work and the way home from work. Nazzy will hopefully find him up there so they can Play together Forever and ever! I am so sorry for your loss.
