As most of you know, I'm out scoping for Apartments since I'll be moving next month. I got a Apartment guide & found this website from that guide. These are the ones I've looking at...I'm a bit over whelmed by this search. I like them all...but they are all so different. For some reason I'm drawn to Lion Gate apartments.

Could you take a look at these and tell me what ya think? Thanks!

Yeah..all of those allow cats. There are some nicer one available, but I've budgeted no more than $500 for rent. That's crazy the way it is...I had a 3 bedroom house with a full basement & 2 bathrooms for only $250 a month!

There is just something about Lions Gate that I like. I do wish they'd have a floor plan pic though.

Most one bedroom apartments in the Bay Area are way over $1,000 per month! And, some of those are old and run-down. Sicy, isn't Nebraska looking more and more desirable each day?

YES LOL!!!

I guess I cant really complain. I do like my apartment. Its not big but I have a garage and a pool and I'm a few blocks from work.

I just cant believe such beautiful apartments go for $400. If I could make the money I make here in Cali, in Nebraska, I could live in a nice apartment and actually have spare money to buy stuff! LOL

We're in almost the same situation in Toronto! If the Lions Gate apartments were in Toronto, you would be paying probably $1000 - $1200 or more. Plus, there would be NO vacancy because the waiting list would be too long!!!

When we owned our condo, we could have rented it out for $1350. That comes with no parking (it would cost you an additional $150 month) and the unit is a one bedroom apartment that was only 735 sq. feet.

Most people who want to rent in Toronto either pay too much for too little, or pay low rent but live in a gross area or basement apartment.

OMG , I guess I am spoilt here in Georgia . I pay less then $ 500.00 a month as house payments . Here you get a small appartment for $ 350.00 and up , but most don't allow pets . If they allow pets you would have to pay a none refunding deposit of $ 200.00 .But the jobs suck here , only min. wage by $5.25 I think .

I like the Lions Gate too, but no dishwasher. Some of the other apartments had all the amenities of the Lions Gate, but no dishwasher.
My favorite was the Water Brook apartments, but they only allow one cat. How many cats to you have, Shell?

I live in a two bedroom ranch with an attached garage and my mortgage is $358.00 and that includes insurance and taxes.

Nora, your mortgage payments are SO reasonable! I hope you don't mind my asking, but what is the full price of your house????

My house was $40,000.00. They wanted $45,000.00, but I countered at $40,000.00 and because they had already built another house and didn't want two mortgages, they accepted.

I live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. The huge park in our city where all the events take place in only 3 blocks away. Very handy on the 4th of July and such. In the winter they have a tobogan hill where you can ride a tobogan down and have a lift take you back up to the top. It is a beautiful park and in my town the most desirable houses are around this park, so I got really lucky.

I'm
looking at the price of your house!!!! Down the street from my house, a vacant piece of land for residential sale was going for $100k!
And in cottage country, 2 1/2 hours north from Toronto, cottages on a good lake start at $150K.

I seriously have to move out of this urban money pit!

Movin' on up!
I'd go for Waterbrook, because of the larger kitchen. Always hated those tiny, cramped apartment kitchens.
