I like Diego too. He looks like a Diego. If not, then Toby, Sam, Max, Riley, Jack, Marley or Charley. I also had a cat called Joey.
This is so funny Joey, Sam, Riley and Jack were all on my original list! I decided against Joey and Sam because they are family names and took Riley and Jack off because I think if I ever have kids I may want to use those names for them!

I have now firmly settled between two names: Diego or Dawson. I'm going out of town until Monday so I'm giving myself then to decide.

Any thoughts between those two?

He is so darn cute, and looks and sounds like a little clown!  How about Charlie or Chaplin?  Diego's a really good name too, though, & that's what he's used to.

So tonight was a HUGE milestone: we have had our first Ella/Diego snuggle! There was even some grooming involved!

Trust me, if you knew Ella and her only child ways you would understand that this is monumental! I am such a proud Momma right now.

Go, Diego, Go!!!!!

EXCUSE ME, I am not a lady, I am a gentleman.  I thought the title under my username made that clear.  Or maybe my posts in other threads.

Get used to it man lol! Around here everybody calls me a "she", and there's a picture of Oksana and myself in my avatar. I definitely don't look like a woman:D

!!!! I'm sorry catspaw I didn't even think about it! Sadly this is not my first gender indiscretion- I have called both BigPerm and Gibbly a "she" too. I am shamed.

To the fellas: I PROMISE I will try to discern gender before using specific pronouns again!

Please forgive me?

Of course.  I just had to poke a little fun at you.  I am used to being called "Ma'am" because the rednecks that work at all the stores here think if your hair is more than half an inch long, you are female.  There was one server at Sonic that I kept telling that I wasn't a female, but he kept calling me Ma'am.  I finally got tired of it, called the manager out and told him that I was going to file sexual harassment charges against the server (male) and the restaurant.  The person was fired the next day.

I have lived alone except for cats for 25 years and I guess I have picked up some demanding habits from them.  Actually, if I get good service, I usually tip from 20 to 40 percent based on the service.  I have tipped good servers at Sonic, but some get nothing.  Around here, they make $2 above minimum wage and don't expect tips.

As far as letting you slide by, I was trained by the Navy to take the shot if you have it.

I still think your pretty one has the right name.   Diego - could be short for Don Diego de la Vega (Zorro)  and on Halloween you could dress him up in a cape, mask and black sombrero.   See, I told you I was wacko.
