Thank you so much! Finding good homes is difficult, and dealing with losses is very hard- but it's definitely worth it knowing you made a difference in those lives!!

Let's see- Monet, Picasso, Matisse, and Falcor have all left to new homes!!

Which leaves: Dali, VanGogh, and Rembrandt. Irene. Chunky Butt. Vance and Vincent. Uno and Crimson. Okay, 9. Not so bad. (Except i'm going to Chevron tonight to see if I can't catch these 4 gorgeous babies there... shhh don't tell my boyfriend.)

Seriously, HUN.... you are doing an unbelievable job with your rescues. You are a complete ANGEL  Please give Dali a little kiss  from me. For some reason, I am drawn to her. Catnamedpanda, knows this about me. I love them all, but sometimes one just sticks to my heart. :heart3: :hugs: :hugs:

Picasso passed away. I guess I let her go to her new home too soon. My friend said she was perfectly fine that night except for being a little goopy eyed. In the morning she found her basically motionless. I rushed there as fast as I could but she literally died within the minute I got there in my hands. Poor baby. I just think she was too weak

Chunky Butt left to his new home today!!

And i'm currently in the process of trapping two sets of kittens, one in a horrible spot in the middle of town at a Chevron gas station (no luck last night) and another group out at the mill my boyfriend works at. Setting the traps up tonight around 9, we'll see how tonight goes!

:eek:hno: SO sorry about :rbheart: Picasso. Kittens are just so fragile, and even more extra fragile coming from such difficult beginnings. AWWWWW Pica, she IS a special baby and very, very adorable. :heart2:

:vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: for trapping. You certainly are a Kitten Champion, hun. BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Have only managed to get 1 of the Chevron kitties so far. There are three more black & white ones out there! Hopefully I will get them soon.

Meet Cheeto!

There's also at least 3 kittens out at the mill my boyfriend works at, we set the traps out there for 4 hours with no luck whatsoever.. I was really surprised. They close up all weekend, so I have to wait until tomorrow night to go set them back up again.

I let Pica leave with my friend who had adopted Picasso. They had a special bond, and since she had no littermates or a momma kitty- I figured it was okay to let her go (she does have another kitty friend at her new home... Meowski- who used to be Gemma and was previously one of my rescues as well!)

Chunky Butt is now known as Starlight. Falcor is now known as Kaloof and I got lots of picture updates of him today! :)

Cheeto has made great strides and is the biggest lovebug ever, he has a home lined up and is leaving Sunday. I rescued one of his siblings tonight too!!! Wahoooo! Don't know whether it's male or female, but i'm naming it Oreo either way. Will post pictures tomorrow.

Adoptable list now includes: Uno, Crimson, Irene, Rembrandt, Dali, VanGogh, Vance, Vincent, and Oreo.

Wow Lynn you are a super-duper-cat-rescuing-superwoman!    My mind absolutely boggles reading this thread as I'm overwhelmed with one feral cat and oodles of raccoons.   Keep up the great work!

Nice to meet you Cassidy!    I hope Dali gets a home - I've been rooting for all of them but her especially because she had a tough start with the head wound.

Just curious about your great success with getting adoptions done.   How/where do you advertize?   The one time I tried my hand at it it didn't go too well and I found one good home and kept the other two kitties myself!

I advertise on Facebook pages for my area, they are under 'groups' I believe. Just like '530 needs' and pages like that. I also advertise on Craigslist, but do screenings to ensure they are going to proper homes! And just through friends and family. You have to be very consistent though!!!

Well... no sign of the last two Chevron kittens. I've gone there the past 3 nights and they haven't been around. I hope they are tonight! Oreo has someone interested in him... keep your fingers crossed!!

Also, today was the first day I saw kittenS.. yes plural, out at my boyfriends work. All of the nights I had been out there I had only ever seen one, a small brown tabby who looked to be about 4 weeks. Well today I found the hiding spot, and although that kitten was no where to be seen- five other ones were. They look to be about 6 weeks old- one calico, one torbie, one orange tabby, one black, and one seal point. I left a trap near that area and am hoping to bring home at least one by the end of the day. They are in a HORRIBLE spot.
