Tonight I had a huge burst of energy.  I was quite tired when I got home from work and figured I wouldn't make it to 7pm without having to go to bed.

I got a second wind and found myself cleaning.

I vacuumed my whole apartment (hard wood and tile floors and 2 rooms with carpets). I vacuumed my love seat from top to bottom. Vacuuming is hard for me, so I sat on my office chair and wheeled around :)

I changed the cat litter box and have the dirty one soaking.

I did all of my dishes and put away my plastic storage containers that I use to freeze meals.

And I dusted my bedroom.

I emptied my Dyson canister twice!!!

It's almost 10:30 pm and I feel like I could do more.  But I have to get to bed.

Tomorrow is my last day of work before my vacation! I'm off for a whole 2 weeks.  I plan on doing more cleaning and sorting of stuff. I want to get my bookcase into my spare room and unpack my books, but not before doing a good vacuuming where the boxes are stacked, and steaming my carpet (I'm still paranoid about bed bugs! So nothing gets unpacked without it being steamed before it's put away).

On Saturday I'm paying a guy from the building next door to come over and clean out my 2 storage lockers in the basement. Most of the stuff is going to go into the trash. My small appliances and Christmas stuff are going into my spare room.

I wish I had the energy to do some cleaning. I have tons of stuff that needs to get done, but I am just too tired being in class for 4 hours a day and being 6 months pregnant. I finished school today so hopefully now I will have more energy.

Any reason why that happened?  I'm 54 and remember it happening when I was about to deliver a baby, and also when I was newly in love.  If neither one is possible you might consider becoming my roommate? (I'm lazy)

LOL @ Fidget :D

lt's probably the thought of 2 weeks off that gave you a burst of energy. Yesterday was my first day of 16 days off. Before that, l worked 6 x 12 hour days, and on the last day l was manic with the exhilaration of 16 days of freedom.

Good job - now you have less housework to do during your vacation! Enjoy :)

That's exactly it!  It was like I was trying to get it all done before my vacation so I wouldn't have to do it on my days off!  LOL  And I was feeling "manic". I was a huge bundle of energy.

Yesterday after work I went to the mall. I bought apartment insurance, went and bought some small storage bins to help me get organized.  And I bought myself a new TENS machine to help with my back pain. I found it at the As Seen on TV store for $50.00 less than the website price.

How much would it cost in postage to send the energy from Canada to the U.S.?
 I sure could use it...

That's wonderful for you, though! I love those kinds of days myself.

Heh! I'm paying for it today!  My back is sore and so are my legs from all of the walking I did at work and at the mall yesterday. And my ankles are swollen.

Today I paid a guy to clean out my 2 storage lockers and downsize to one.  More than 3/4 of the stuff I had in both lockers went into the trash.

Tonight I'm going to my brother's for dinner and tomorrow I'm staying home and just resting with a good book, with my feet up.

I like huge bursts of energy for the simple fact that so much gets done because of them. I wish I could have them everyday. if all goes smoothly, later this month I will be entered into a university research study which provides medication to help with consistent and sustained energy.
