Ok, so as Khaleesi is getting bigger and bigger teeth and claws....her habit of attacking me is getting intolerable. I never encouraged it, if she attacked my hands I would take them away and if she attacked my feet I would say no and try and get her redirected to a new toy. However, she is not learning. A week of this and she still attacks my ankles, my hands, my laptop screen and my legs while in bed. I say no, I yell, but she is unflappable. Yelling at the top of my lungs "NO!" makes my other cats scatter but Khaleesi doesn't even blink (thanks to whomever suggested making loud noises often since I got her, she is the least skittish kitten ever!). Short of always carrying a water bottle around everywhere, I am not sure how to stop her! I try and make it not fun for her, if she attacks my legs while sleeping she gets placed on the floor and has to climb back up if she wants to be on the bed again. Yet again, she doesn't seem to care!

I know people warned me bottle fed kittens are more naughty usually, and more stubborn...but holy cow this kitten is giving my patience a run for the money!

Also, how to I discourage her from climbing into my recliner? I am careful and never close it without checking, but I am going to throw my back out climbing out of a open recliner if I have to keep doing it. I sprayed Natures Miracle "Pet Block" under them but that didn't even make her hesitate. If I can reach where she is holed up I spray her with the water bottle but lately she has been hiding in the back which is unreachable and the only way to get her out if calling her over and over (I think my neighbors must think I am insane since all they hear all day is "Khaleesi! Khaleesi! NO! NO!"

I've got a 10 mo old and I have no idea what her lineage was prior to her being about 6 weeks old. I just know she's a hellion, and I would think that based on her defiant behavior that maybe she was not nurtured by a mother cat, or at least not long enough.
She & her litter mates who were rescued from the shelter at 6 weeks. They were due to be put down because of feline distemper exposure. 1 of her litter mates perished, another almost perished, & my cat was somehow never affected. The lady that rescued them spent 6000 dollars for medical expenses, so they are miracle kitties.

I'm thinking maybe the mother cat was sick and died very soon after the pregnancy, and that's when the shelter got them. Regardless I think her rough childhood has a lot to do with her acting out so much as a teenager. :banghead:
