I think that's where mine came from!  They are probably cheaper - a little - online but Argos is instant plus you can check and reserve on-line before going there.

This was the first time I've taken photos as my previous fosters were all pre-digital.  I was astonished at how clearly it shows them getting longer, plus of course the cuteness in the later photos.

ok the results of the weigh in have suprised me..

The black is 124g

patch is       126g

ginger is      128g

pirate is       135g

so basically the one i thought wasnt getting much is the heaviest, and the one i thought was getting it all is the lightest lol!

Those are good weights. It looks like momma is doing a very good job. The little black and white ones are so unusual, gorgeous though, all of them!

I was amazed as well.  And the colour of those scales!  Not good for photos, but perfect for weighing and an absolute bargain at that price.  Guess you could always use some sticky-back plastic to give them a more neutral appearance, and then claim your Blue Peter badge.

And that is exactly why weighing is so important :)

I have very similar scales in black, the kittens turn them off or change from gm to oz when they are moving about on the scale as the touch button is very sensitive.

Very hard to tell from those photos but I'll give it a crack. Boy, girl, boy, boy

That's the same conclusion i came to but tbh i find it hard to see much diff at this age between the bits of a boy and a girl lol! So hoping more ppl will  have guesses and ill go with the majority until they are older and its easier lol :)

I go with boy girl boy boy as well.  In the boys their urinary outlet is much further from their anus.

How much time should mum be spending away from her kittens? They are sleeping in their box and she has been sleeping under the bed for the last hour and this is like the third time today. She does go back to them if they mew loudly for her though.

If she goes back to them when they are mewing then there should be no problem. I also say all boys, except #2 as a girl. But pictures are blurry and it's so hard to tell unless you're there, and even then...

My girls don't tend to leave their kittens much at all, but so long as they have full tummies and are sleeping peacefully and she does tend to them when they call it's probably alright.

Moms need breaks too. Their weights are indicating she is doing a fine job, let her do what is natural for her. If the kittens stop gaining, or even lose weight, you might consider moving her to a smaller space, like a bathroom but right now, the kittens are doing fine. Some momma cats dote on their babies, some take a much more laid back approach.
