I have seen mixed opinions online, I was just curious about everyone's thoughts. My momma cat was a stray that I took inside about 3 weeks ago. I took her to the vet to deworm her and he kinda pushed to do the vaccines now. She had diarrhea when I took her in and I told him that she was inside only and I would rather wait. The babies will be weaned in 3 or 4 weeks so I told him I would rather do it then. He really wanted me to do it while we were there but the fact that she had diarhea and she is nursing I didnt think it was a good idea. Am I right? I thought I finally found a vet that I liked but I guess I may have to keep searching...

There's no big hurry to vaccinate. If she had to go up for adoption right away or something, sure, you might need to do it while she's nursing. But under these circumstances, why take the risk? And you're right that sick cats shouldn't be vaccinated--it says so right in the vaccine papers.

I don't know if I'd stop using a vet because of that, unless he gets too pushy/disrespectful. Although it's too bad we can't trust vets to at least follow the instructions!
