My 15 year old cat Buttons is deaf. My grandpa accidentally ran over her leg with his truck on Friday. I was at work when it happened, but according to my grandma the vet said her leg was fractured, not actually broken.

So, she's coming home Monday morning.

I've never had to deal with a pet with a serious injury such as this.

Not to mention she's also deaf.

Do you have any advice on how to handle this?

Keep her confined inside.  Do you have a large crate/cage you could put her in that can hold her food and litter box?  That would work so she couldn't move around much.  If you don't have that, can you confine her to a spare room or bathroom?

No, no crate that large unfortunately.

We don't really have any spare rooms either (2bed/1bath house)

I was thinking of cleaning out my closet and put bedding and stuff in there for her. My closet isn't quite a walk-in closet but it's 6 feet wide.

That would probably work just as well.  You really just want to keep her calm, not jumping, and just gentle walking, but not a lot.
