Last year, my only feral cat gave birth to two kittens, Ruby and Tiny. The mother, Fluffy, left them by themselves after they were four weeks old so I raised them from then on. I played with them, fed them and loved them. Ruby is so sweet and comes up to me in the morning for petting and cuddles. Tiny still won't come anywhere near me, and she's so cute and I love her so much it's breaking my heart. I was wondering if there was a way that I could trap her and try to socialize her. The only thing is, I don't have access to a humane trap because our local humane society is an hour and a half away and I cant find one in stores. Is there anyway I could make one? I really want to bond with my Tiny baby

I have a similar problem. I got great information from people from this website. You can look for a TNR near you or Harbor Freight (I don't know if they have this store where you live) sell humane traps. As for making one, I honestly can't say. You don't want to have anything go wrong and hurt your adorable little friend there. Too CUTE!!

AW. Tiny wants to come inside :D. Cute picture. You could also try using the crate feeding method. This is easy if the cat will eat while you are present. You would start feeding her in a medium sized crate. Once she is comfortably eating in the crate (door propped open) and with you being near, you can then shut and latch the door quickly. If she is not comfortable with you that close but from a distance of ten feet or so, you can use the rope method. Tie the rope to the door and run the rope through the slats on the side of the crate. This is more traumatic for them when you have to pull and reel in the cat in the crate, but I have done this quite a few times over the years with success. You have a few options to use and/or try. I am sure one way or another you will have your sweet Tiny  :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: You have a good heart for caring :hugs:

Have you tried hardware stores near you?  All of them around here carry humane traps (could just be a Texas thing); but if they don't carry them where you are, maybe they can order one.  I don't know what part of Canada you're in, but we got our trap at Home Depot.  Is there one near you?  Amazon.com also carries them (although I don't know what the shipping would be to you).
We've also had success with the crate trapping method, although it was a little harder to do.
