Just a short while ago( a hour or so) our cat started to howl, my girlfriend and I checked on him and he has a limp, he has trouble laying down as in he would get right back up, or he would sit RIGHT on his butt then lay down, when he walks his back remains arched and he would start backing as if he sees something we don't (were thinking cataracts or something of the sort), and when he lays down he gets VERY unresponsive, were calling our Local vet since it has a 24 hours emergency number  but we dont know whats going on if could help that would be appreciated

Oh boy, sounds like he has hurt his leg. Was he in the house?  Outside?

You are absolutely right to get into the vet asap.

Poor kitty....please let us know how he is.

Definitely a vet visit sooner rather than later.

My Rosie made that deep meow with her back sunk low last year so l rushed her straight up to the vet. She had badly bruised the base of her tail due to rough playing with Jack, but she was in a lot of pain!.

Agree with back injury since I went through something similar with my Seshat many years ago. He must be in a lot of pain so I'm relieved you are taking him to the vet asap.

I pray you've been able to get to the vet by now, and that they are treating your cat for what sounds like significant trauma to the leg and/or spinal area.  *PRAYERS* for him! and thank you for acting as quickly as possible to ensure he will be property cared for!
