What would cause a cat to suddenly develop a pink anus (just around the opening, not the entire thing) as well as soft, butterscotch-colored poop?

We ran out of her normal brand of moist food last Tuesday, so I fed her Whiskas pouches we had left over until I could get to the store. She began developing these symptoms on Thursday, which is the day I finally got to the store and bought her usual brand of food. I figured the change in food brands accounted for the change in her poop, which also caused her anus to become pink (from increased frequency and licking), but it's been about three days since I stopped feeding her the Whiskas and she still has butterscotch poop and a pink butt. I also noticed this morning that there was something brown around the anal opening, like poop residue that hadn't been cleaned off, but that's not the color of her poop… I was a little worried that it was dried blood, but she wouldn't let me touch it with a wet wipe to check. She pooped again a few minutes ago, and has since cleaned it off. There is no blood in her stool, as far as I can tell.

Other than this, though, she acts completely fine, as if nothing's wrong with her. She eats very well, plays, runs around, etc. Does anyone know what this could be?

She started off as a dry food only cat when I first got her, but I switched to seafood-flavored moist food about a month in in hopes that she would gain some weight (she was a very, very skinny stray prior to adoption). I'm considering switching back to the dry food for a few days to see if she maybe has some kind of seafood allergy.

Thanks!

I would suspect the switch to a different food caused the strange coloured poop and possibly irritated her anus. I'd give her still more time on her normal wet food before switching again as changing foods that often can definitely cause stomach upsets and could just exacerbate the issue.
