Hello! I hope some of you may remember me! I used to be quite an active poster especially in "the lounge"

In September of last year I was diagnosed with a neurological disease! Which started taking my sight. I lost my job , my confidence and my independance and spend weeks/months in and out of hospital! (I was 19 at the time)

Anywho medication/lumbar punctures failed and I had brain surgery 12 days ago and had a vp shunt inserted so had a op on brain and stomach! As well as that my bladder started failing (another op to look forward to).

So I am feeling a bit more human now , especially since dropping 99% of the pain killers I was taking!

Anyway I hope your all well and here are hugs owed to those who needs/needed them , belated happy birthdays and congratulations to those its appropiate too!

Hope to be posting more now!

Thanks for all your lovely replies! I am hoping to recover well enough to find another job in the next few months. I miss working and earning. Just hope the shunt continues to remain strong. x
