My Magnus (Pic Heavy)

Magnus, my rescue kitten, 8 months old.

This is what he looked like a couple of weeks after I first got him (I adopted him late November). He was born in June 2011.



Here is a picture from yesterday (Feb 2012). you can see how much longer he's gotten. The vet thinks he'll be large when he's done growing.

You have a beautiful cat

OMG....       He is just GORGEOUS!  I love how in most lights he looks all black, then in sunlight you can see the beautiful auburn/brown colors and sheen on his coat.  He is seriously one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen.  So fluffy and soft!!!!  You are one lucky girl

I think he is beautiful too, but then we all think our cats are beautiful (and most are! Very rarely have I seen an ugly cat

Also I just took this photo last night and I had to share because he was being too cute. I swear he likes to pose for the camera.

LOL, Ninja, I love it, so cute, & playing w/ his food what a silly.  Such a hansom boy!  Was that a piece of raw chicken? Never fed Angel raw before (afraid of the bacteria)

but have some chicken thawing in the 'fridge for tomorrow, is it o.k. to give him a little?

He only does partially raw; He gets one can of wet food (5.5 oz) per day plus a little raw on top of that as I have not gone full raw diet with him. I decided to try raw as he has such a voracious appetite right now and I though it might satiate him more. 

If you have any raw food questions, try asking in the raw food forum,b ut yeah, it's fine to give raw but if they are new to raw food make sure there are no bones in it. I just rinse mine off with water before I give it to him. You can also heat it up slightly for a few seconds in the microwave to make it closer to room temperature.

Some cats take to raw immediately and others may take a while because they are used to their old food (so I've been told).

Magnus was very easy. It may be because he used to be feral so I'm sure he was eating some raw food from his mom at some point; and just because he has such a big appetite in general that he will pretty  much eat most things I give him.

O.K. thanks!  Maybe I will try giving him a little peice tomorrow & see what he does.
