Hi Everyone

I was wondering a couple of things.

# 1- Have we ever had an official TCS gathering?

# 2 - Is it a possibility?

and # 3- Is anyone even interested?

Right here! :)
I allmost went to a gathering in England in 2006, but something came up at the last minute, so I couldn't go, but at that time I LIVED here at TCS, so I really wanted to meet those friends I "met" every day.

I would love to meet TCS-ers, it's not like many of  you travel to Iceland very often! But I hope to be able to meet someone sometime when go abroad. Or of course it would be a great idea to have a TCS gathering here in Iceland!

That would be so fun! Unfortunately I can't really travel at the moment. I think a couple people from here live near me, but I can't remember who!

I've done one meetup with a few girls not too far from me.  It was a lot of fun!  I wouldn't be able to do any big trips; too much else going on in my life.  But the more local ones are fun to go to and to read about.  I think we usually just plan them between ourselves.

What scares you about them?. I always hold on to them (as you should anyway!) because i've heard of so many people falling down them. Urgh, that sent a shiver through my stomach just thinking of it

The fear of falling down them and getting trapped at the end of them, im fine on the flat ones like in asda but you wont catch me going up the ones at the metro centre let alone monument LOL!! Im a wuss really, I get all wobbly on them and I panic and stop breathing not that great really

I can understand that.

Well if some other Brits want a meet up we can sort something out. I've got a busy calendar this year but i'll able to squeeze a day in

I would certainly try to get over. I am planning a visit in late February, just to see friends, but that would probably be too early to arrange a TSC meeting. AS we were in Leeds last time, maybe it should be somewhere different this time?
