I got a Job!!

clap.gif I haven't worked for 6 years since I had the kids but things are so tough at the minute as my hubbys hours have been drastically cut.I went for a job interview today working as a home carer for the elderly and people who basically need care in their own homes.Because of the kids I can only work evenings and weekends and she said that is fine,I have got to take my stuff in for my criminal record check tomorrow which will be fine as I am squeaky cleanlaughing02.gif I begin training a week on monday which is 9-1pm for 2 weeks and then all systems go.I get paid for training and fuel allowance.I am really pleased,I love caring work and have missed working and more importantly I get to help people and also get some much needed cash so all in all very rewarding.x

Thanks hun,I am sure I will love it,I will just be busy,busy,busy,housework,school runs,making meals and worklaughing02.gif I am sure i will fit it all in.x

Update** well I have started my training,I started on monday,its like being back at school again so much to learn and lots of writing but I am really,really enjoying it and I cannot wait to start the job.The training ends a week on friday and then I start the job properely,I will be working with someone for the first 6 weeks,then I am on my own.I really think that I will love it as it will be a very rewarding job.x

Gosh since I've started my new job last month, I am so behind with everything on here! So please let me add my belated CONGRATULATIONS on your new job! I'm sure you will do great, and I hope it works out well for you! I'm still figuring out how to best budget my time with work and school, but it's going ok and I'm making it work. Having a paycheck again is definitely a good thing!
