Hi all!

Im Georgey and I foster for my local branch of The Cats Protection League, I am their youngest volunteer (age 17) but one of the craziest

We have 4 of our own cats.

Mable (12 year old ginger and white tabby female)

Bubble (6yr old tortie and white female)

Squeak (6yr old tortie and white female)

Oscar (5/6 month old blue and white male.)

Zaphod by Georgina'sbunny's, on Flickr

Oscar was a foster cat, who had his hind leg removed and urm never left

I've had 17 foster cats and kittens in just over a year, it's incredibly rewarding.
Sadly at the start of the year a former foster cat passed away due to FIP, I was heart broken, but knew she had a good life.

my newest foster cat is a lovely tortie and white girly called Evangeline (or Evie) who may well be pregnant with a litter of kittens, they'll be my first litter of babies. The youngest I've ever looked after is 6 weeks so it will be interesting

I also have a dog, gerbil and 2 rabbits. A house full of animals, the way it should be

Welcome! I can see a house full of animals, and full of love! Your babies are all beautiful, and so blessed to share a home with you.

They are all absolutely beautiful. I admire you for fostering - it's something I've thought of doing but I'm afraid that I'd never be able to let them go. I also wanted to volunteer at our local shelter but - again - I'd be afraid of wanting to bring home every kitty I met.

From one foster mom to another, welcome to TCS!
We have fostered many cats/kittens as well and have dealt with a lot of pregnant moms and newborn kittens, so never hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
