Immm backkkkkk!!! *quick run and hide.lol*

I had a flipping BLAST! I managed to make a killer savings shopping trip. $600 worth of clothes for....drum roll please......$278!! I had extra to run over to Nike and get a new pair of sneakers so now I have pretty clothes and 'nice' sweats that DF wont kill me for wearing in public and then I have my 'work' clothes that are able to get dirty and grungy and ripped and all that good stuff that happens when I help DF do stuff!

I have some pictures but not a lot because I was sooooo overwhelmed with going Oooooo and Ahhhhhh that I forgot about my phone having a camera. I did catch a few good pics though.

Only one bad thing happened and it was literally right before we left. My freaking cat sitter backed out and left me hanging. I was LIVID. I knew that logically they would be fine for what would total a day and a half gone. But still they are my babies of course I wanted someone to check on them. Well all was well if anything they were just a little over excited to see us when we got home but nothing was broken, out of place and all the curtains were still hanging LOL. When my mom called me to say happy birthday yesterday I made sure to ask her that next time I dont care if its only a day but I want her to come check on the cats for me.

Im gonna try and get my photobucket to cooperate so I can load up my pictures that I did get and post them.

This birthday totally beat last year when I got the Explorer LOL!!! I loved vacation!

I love Delaware! I've only been there once, en route to Atlantic City. There was snow on the ground, the food was excellent, it was wonderful. I'm glad you had a great time!

I take it you were shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth? A total of oh...30 minutes from my house!?
Next time let's meet up for lunch!!

Oh and I'm hitting the outlets in a week or two. I go down there for shoes for my DD from striderite! Plus they have an OshKosh Outlet and a Carters. Almost everything I've ever bought there (and that's been a lot!) has been at least 40% off. Love the kitchen stores too!

Pam-I would have called but it was literally soooo last minute that I just grabbed every extra dish I had filled half with water and half with food and had to walk out the door. Next time we go I will definately see if you are available. I thought my neighbor was someone I could count on but now Im glad she didnt watch my dog either because my pets are my children and if I cant count on her to take 10 minutes twice a day to walk up to the house, feed the outside cats and pop her head into the house and make sure that my curtains are still standing then I couldnt count on her to watch my neurotic mess of a dog. Lesson learned for me. Im sticking with people I can trust to take care of my kids, even if Im only gone for a day or two.

MoochNNoodles- We are planning another trip sometime soon. Well maybe two. One is to take the ferry to Jersey and then drive home from Jersey and another to go down to the outlets for winter clothes shopping and shoes. I will let you know when we come down again. We stayed in Dewey Beach in a development that is part of a country club type thing. The road to get back to the development is a hop away from the outlet where Old Navy is and about a block or two away from the Electric Banana. Im sure the guys would be happy to drop me off somewhere to meet up with a fellow CCL (crazy cat lady) LOL

Im kicking myself now. I should have gotten the silver and aqua sneakers I wanted but I was being all 'logical' and got the white and navy ones. Im doing an internet hunt for those shoes now because I want them somethin fierce.

Happy Birthday! It sounds like hitting the outlets was an unqualified success. Do you ever go to the ones in Reading? Are they still there?

Do let me know! It really doesn't take me very long to get down there. There are some good restaurants there too. My fav places are Rusty Rudder (but that's one to hit up when they have the buffet open. Good food but seafood is expensive!) or Phillips, which also has a buffet. That one is a little farther south, into Ocean City, MD. I like Jakes too. Plus they have Cracker Barrel, La Tonalteca (good place too!), Outback and some other places. Grottos pizza is awesome too. LOL There was talk of closing the Rusty Rudder (thats right there in Dewey Beach too) some time ago....hope they didn't do it. I haven't been down that way in a while since it's past the outlets and turn for the beach. Oh! Theres also a place called Crabby Dicks. I've not gotten to go there; but they've created a stir because they always have (or had?) suggestive saying up on their sign.

Haha....us too. One year when my husband was in the military still and we were still newlyweds we went down to Ocean City in March for a weekend after he came home. We stayed at a fancier hotel with in suite jacuzzis and what not. Well we discovered almost no places were open to eat!! We ended up at a fancy Italian restaurant the first night....we actually left before we ordered and found something else! It was not out style!
