This seems like a really lame way to show pictures! I see many people here have pictures embedded right in their post, rather than a link. How is that done? I've tried it many times and the 'manage extensions' feature simply will not upload my chosen pictures from my computer. Oh well...I tried.

beautiful pics!

In your post box (where you write your post), there's an image that looks like a mountain with a stamp. Click on that and enter your image URL. that works for me.

Hi,

LuvMyParker....I tried what you said and it didn't work. All that happened was I got a little box with a question mark.

mrblanche...how were you able to put those pictures of my cat up like that??

Draco....I tried your suggestion as well and that didn't work either. Once again, all I got is the little box with a question mark inside.

I wonder if all this has something to do with using Safari on a Mac?

Somewhere I'm still missing something.

Thanks so much! We really deliberated over names for this kitty.....so glad you like it! I find myself calling her Marzi for short....still no more luck with trying to put the pictures directly in with the post though. I've tried everything everyone suggested here.

I was able to do it by putting the [IMG] before and [/IMG] after the link. Without spaces. Hit the Quote button at the bottom right of my reply, and you'll see how I was able to do it.

BTW: cute cat

I copied the URL of the photo that you posted.

I opened a reply box, clicked on the icon that looks like a mountain with the sun over it, pasted the copied URL in the box, click OK, and there it is!

Oh she is beautiful!

And I never knew what that envelope with the mountain in it was next to the little globe, that I don't know what it is! I always just used the image tags.
