Texas Siamese Rescue founder dies

The founder of the Texas Siamese Rescue died recently after a long illness. They had a long history of successful adoptions, with over 7,000 cats placed. Right now, they have about 100 cats that need homes. If you live anywhere within a reasonable distance (and they have transported cats as far as the Northwest), and you could provide a home for one of these meezers, check out their web site and give them a call. I would be glad to help with the transportation to the surrounding states. (The main rescue location is on the north side of Dallas.)

Check them out on Facebook, also. When you find their page, go down just a few messages and check out Miss Millie. How could you resist a face like that?

So many sweet, older cats. We have too many old guys right now to bring on another (geriatric care can be expensive) but when we are ready for another, I will check this rescue out. They aren't too far from me so it would be perfect. Thanks for posting.

Note that there ARE older cats, but plenty of young ones, too. Kittens, even.
