Hello!

I just adopted a female cat one week ago. An extremely shy cat. We named her Princess. Not too sure of her breed though. And she has lovely deep blue eyes.

Here's her portrait.

Thanks for the compliments. Got her from a friend of mine who had to let her go due to a new addition to his family. Lovely cat who loves brushing. I'll update you guys with more photos along the way. She has small eyes though as you can see from the pic. LOL.

Sadly, I can't see your lovely girl. But nice to meet you

I would assume she's a longhair Siamese?

I miss Singapore, used to live there back in the mid 90s! Was a hooligan though hanging onto the back of taxis bumpers with my inline skates and dodging the popo downtown heheh! I lived over by Holland Rd and Ulu Pandan.

Hello.

She might be a cross breed between either DLH and Siamese or Persian and Siamese or as known as Himalayan. Just a guess. Hehe. Not pedigreed though.

Duncman69, how long you lived in Singapore?

Yayi, try clicking on the link perhaps?

Three years, need to visit again now that so much time has passed and see how much everything has changed.

Singapore was always building building building with cranes everywhere, so I bet its grown a lot.

She is so pretty! I'm not real good at breeds, but she definintely has a lot of characteristics of a Ragdoll I think. How much does she weigh?

Are there many strays there now? And are they tiny Singapuras?

I can honestly say that I don't really recall seeing any stray cats when I was there in the 90s. At least, not like here in Houston where you can't throw a rock without being afraid of hitting a feral cat.

Great pic BTW.

Singapura is considered a rare breed in Singapore. Rarer than the Persians.

The govt has been discussing on ways to tackle the issue of stray cats in Singapore. Cat fosterers are doing their part by sterlizing all the stray cats to control their population. If not, the govt bodies will put them to sleep, which is a sad thing.

Anyhow, I've visited the Vet just now and was told that Princess is approx a year old and a breed of Ragdoll. However, on a sidenote, she's diagnosed with Ear Mites. Poor babe.

She's so lucky to have you. I'm sure the ear mites will get cleared up with the proper medication!
