Benebac

Does anyone think its odd that a rescue group has never heard of this stuff?
Having been heavily involved in small animal rescue, this stuff was a staple for the medicine chest. Maybe it is a vet preference? I am sure there are tons of other probiotics out there.

I do not think it is that surprising. There are many brand names that have/make probiotics as you said. It also depends on the species in question on which type of probiotic a person would use.

We always used Benebac on all the rodents, rabbits and the occassional oddish small mammal. I give my cats Benebac when they get upset tummies and loose stools.

I suppose its just been something I took for granted
