I hope all the canucks here are having a wonderful day!
Hey, and "have a nice day" to all the non-Canadians too.

For our Canucks - how are you celebrating?

I had forgotten all about it with the excitement here Wednesday night and all day yesterday - HUGE storm, trees down, etc and let's just say my yard looks weird with 8 trees gone. Got up this morning to get ready to go grocery shopping and heard them say 'Today's John Gormley show is a repeat of somedateinMay". Guess I should have gone yesterday even with no sleep. Happiness to me is going to be a long afternoon nap followed by a steak supper in the bar

We're going to a BBQ with a few of our friends, then maybe going to the fireworks after.

Stupid boyfriend forgot to go to the liquor store yesterday, so we have 3 beers between us, lol. Hopefully someone else there was a bit smarter than us and got extra...

Happy Canada Day!

Just a regular day here, we're not doing anything special. The recycling just got picked up, I thought city employees would have the day off.

We went yesterday right after work!

Your day also sounds a lot like our's. We were just invited to a family bbq at my aunt & uncle's place, so we'll be heading there when we're done work. Dana mentioned he would like to go see the fireworks tonight, so we'll see.

I may go to beautiful Peggys' Cove here in NS. Possibly go see fireworks and have a drink.

I got up too late to go and then when I was done both the liquor and beer stores were closed I maybe could have made the Labatt Factory Store but didn't get out until about 10:20 and then Mike called me to pick him up - we drove by it on the way home but it was 11:05 lol

We just returned from Port Burwell where we ran into my friend's son and his wife totally by coincidence, had dinner with them so thoroughly enjoyed the day. Time for a nap now so I can rest up to celebrate July 4th with our American friends.

I don't know why, but I found the visit of the young royal couple to be very exciting. I'm not Canadian, but for some reason, that touched me.
