Summer is upon us in the Northern Hemisphere. It is hot, hot, hot in some areas. (It was 104 degrees here yesterday) So my question is......

Do you drink hot coffee in the summer? Or do you drink iced drinks, coffees, teas etc?

It is too hot to drink coffee now here. We drink iced tea a lot. We also like to get a Starbucks Mocha Frappechino sometimes. We can't drink them all the time because they cost so much but the are sooooo good. I am off today, so we are getting Starbucks.

I love my hot coffee every morning! It's always chilly and damp here, so no problem temperature-wise. We use flannel sheets and 1-2 down comforters on the beds year 'round. This is our 10th summer here and we've never had an evening too warm for a fire in the fireplace!

Growing up in Texas, though, it was iced tea and iced coffee for me, no hot drinks at all, no hot showers in the summer either, always cool ones.

I always have one cup of hot coffee in the morning after I get to work. Most times, but not always, I'll have a cup on weekends as well. Other than that, I'll drink diet soda (I really like diet Mt. Dew), mint tea (sugarless or sweetened with Splenda), and iced water. That's pretty much it. And it's like that throughout the year...I don't change my habits with the seasons. (Although sometimes during the winter months, I may have hot cocoa in the morning instead of coffee, but that's rare.)

No coffee as a regular part of my day. I do like to get coffee as dessert or from Starbucks, etc. and it just depends. On a hot day I'm definitely more likely to get iced or frappucino than hot.

I have to have my hot morning coffee daily or I'm useless. I'll also occassionally have one throughout the day.

I drink hot coffee every morning all the seasons, and I also enjoy Iced Coffee in the summer.

Definitely hot coffee. I can't stand iced coffee. However, if I have hot coffee and let it get cold, it's delicious

Oh yes, I drink coffee all year round, every morning.... Rarely will I make an iced coffee, I really don't like that...

Well, I am saving the Starbucks for the weekend. We got a large soda at the movies this afternoon, and since it had a free refill, I am drinking that.

I usually drink cold frappucinno's from Starbucks in the summer caramel preferably. I can't handle hot anything in the summer unless it's tea or something on a real cool night and I LOVE Iced tea in the summer.

Same here. My morning coffee has to be hot no matter what the outside temperature is, but it can be either hot or iced on a hot afternoon.
