I surprised DH with a patio idea for our backyard. We haven't been enjoying outside like we did before JR came along. DH has been dragging his grills to the back, no man's land. After shopping at BJ's we saw this awesome Grillzebo. DH loved it but figured I wouldn't approve the purchase. I finally talked him into the purchase but we settled for one at Sears. Before we made the purchase I planted the seed to have a patio put in the back. :-) We contacted my cousin who works for a landscaper. He never did a patio on his own. He consulted his boss and DH consulted the internet. Just over a month later and it's complete. There were some downs and fighting along the way. It isn't perfect but DH can say he laid the patio with my cousin.
Friday and Saturday we spent the afternoon and 2 rain storms later we came home with over 30 plants. I am very pleased with our work and wanted to share. If it wasn't for extreme couponing, pay off our debts, and saving money for the last 2 years this wouldn't have been done.
