Updated Pix Of the Foster Kittens

Here's the most current batch of pix. I know how y'all like seeing updates of them. They were taken about a week ago:

Don't ask me which one is which: I still can't tell them apart! They all look identical to me.

Now they'll come and sit next to me on the sink if I'm sitting on the toilet, and rub up against me - purring like crazy the whole time. How the heck am I supposed to try giving them up?!

I don't think I'd ever do it again - unless I ran into another dire situation like this one was. I don't have the stomach for it. It's gonna break my heart giving them up!

I've never seen a kitten that wasn't cute, but these little ones just take the cake! Ever since I first laid eyes on them, I was head over heels in love with them . Previously I told DH that the next cat we're getting needs to be an orange one, ever since I saw a picture on this site of Steve, I think his name is. He's so gorgeous. BUT, unfortunately, we're a long way off from getting another furbaby.

As I have said to you when you've posted other pics, I don't know how you're going to give them up...I'm afraid I'd not be able to do it, thus, no fostering for me!!!

Aw! Cute kittens. ^^

Oh gosh they are so gorgeous
Maybe they'll get to be mischievous enough it'll sting a little less to give them up

They're already at that stage. You wouldn't want to hear the names I call them when I go into the bathroom where I've been keeping them, and walk into a war zone. I had forgotten just how much havoc kittens can cause. Just when I think I have everything out of harm's way, they find something else to get in to. I put plenty of toys in there for them to play with - along with a crinkle tunnel - but being cats, that's not good enough for them. I've gotten to the point where I throw the empty cardboard toilet paper roll tube on the floor for them after I'm done using it: they seem to have more fun with that than anything else.

They are so cute

They just melted my heart, they are so so so so adorable. I can totally understand how you must feel having to give them up. Would be so hard for me too, but you have done so much for them so far and they are ready for their furrever homes now. They are beautiful kittens and will get adopted quickly, don't worry

This one is just too cute with his short little legs. What a little doll

Can I keep them?

That's the female of the three, Lauren. She's the most loving of them all: she always sits on the sink when I'm on the toilet, and purrs like crazy and rubs against me. I think I'll be more heartbroken having to give her up than any of the others.

I usually can tell by now just which one is which when it comes to kittens. But these three look sooooo much alike! I really can't tell! The only way I can separate the female from the males is by checking out their "plumbing".

They look as innocent as a new-born baby to me - till you get a good look - especially the two boys. You can see the in their eyes when you get close. Last night they really had a blast in their "room". I opened the door to find tampons (among other things) scattered all over the place. I could tell who the two culperts were right away, cuz they took off. The little girl just sat there on the edge of the sink looking at me as if to say, "See how good I am, meowmy? THEY did it - again!"

Tampons?! Oh boy!!
I remember when Kuan Yin used to claw up a whole roll of TP at a time and we had to keep it up high on a shelf

Yep, tampons. It's a good thing I've gone thru menopause and don't need then anymore. They also keep knocking the trash over and shredding whatever's in there. I had to start hauling the trash out of the bathroom where I've been keeping them in and start throwing it out in the kitchen trash can.

They can't get to the TP anymore: I had to put that away underneath the bathroom sink a long time ago.

LOL this reaffirms my belief that nature makes them incredibly cute so they can get away with these antics
I think I've blocked out all my furbabies naughtiness in their youth, it's better that way

You got that right! No matter how irritated I sometimes get with them when I walk into a disaster zone, my heart instantly melts when they start rubbing their furry little faces against mine.

I must do the same thing, because I had forgotten just how mischievous they can be. I was reminded a hundred times over when I brought these three into the house!
We all must do it so we can get suckered into it again
post #27 of 27
How can you stand all that cuteness?!? They are absolutely adorable and doing so well with you!
